PLEASE NOTE:
"Poisonous" does not mean deadly. Some manifestations of toxicity are subtle. The dose, as always, determines if a plant is safe source of nutrients or a toxic hazard.

BRIEF: What is the most dangerous fact about poisonous plants that you know?

ANSWER:

Almost all ornamental plants are toxic, a few are deadly. We like them to be pretty with no insect holes in them, and since we don't eat them, we have selected them over the years to be most resistant to bugs. Unfortunately, this has also made them resistant to people and pets, too.
