PLEASE NOTE:
"Poisonous" does not mean deadly. Some manifestations of toxicity are subtle. The dose, as always, determines if a plant is safe source of nutrients or a toxic hazard.

BRIEF: What could have caused these blisters?

QUESTION:
I would like a list of plants that are toxic to human skin such as poison ivy and oak. I am trying to find what plant gave me blisters on my leg. I do not have ivy or oak on my farm.

ANSWER:

Stinging nettle? Poison sumac? Some people are sensitive to Virginia creeper, too. Also, you could have poison ivy and not know it. It is sneaky. A lot of people react to milkweed latex, too.
