Location:

The meeting will be held in Morrison Hall, Animal Science Department, Cornell University, Tower Road, Ithaca NY 14853 (corner of Judd Falls and Tower Road). See Maps for a searchable map of the Cornell Campus (enter “Morrison Hall”).


Lodging:

We have rooms reserved at three local hotels. They are all in close proximity to campus. When calling any of the hotels they are blocked under (NEBCSA).

  • Ramada Ithaca, 2310 N. Triphammer Rd., Ithaca, NY - $79.95/night includes a hot breakfast buffet. Cut off is June 1, 2010. Please call 607-257-3100 to reserve your room. Ramada is 3 miles to Morrison Hall, close to the Ithaca airport (i.e., not within walking distance of either downtown or college town). They do have a shuttle (limited) to and from campus, reserve your time the day before. Also on a regular bus route.
  • Best Western, 1020 Ellis Hollow Rd., Ithaca, NY - $89.00/night includes a continental breakfast. Cut off is June 6, 2010. Please call 607-272-6100 to reserve your room. Best Western is 1 mile to Morrison Hall. They do have a shuttle (limited) to and from campus, reserve your time the day before. Also on a regular bus route. Just outside of campus so walking distance to campus and college town.
  • Holiday Inn Ithaca Downtown, 222 S. Cayuga St., Ithaca, NY - $99.00/night. Cut off is May 27, 2010. Please call 607-272-1000 to reserve your room. Holiday Inn is 2 miles to Morrison Hall. They do have a shuttle (limited) to and from campus, reserve your time the day before. Also on a regular bus route. This hotel is located in downtown, so close to the downtown pedestrian area and restaurants. Steep hike up hill to college town and campus.

Parking

Campus Parking permits are required on weekdays: If you need parking permits for either Monday or Wednesday, please add $7.00/day to your amount. A bus will pick up participants from the three hotels listed below on Tuesday so you should not need a parking permit for Tuesday. Parking on Sunday night is free on campus.
