  • 10:15-10:45 BREAK – Take some time and visit the Resource Room - 154
  • 10:45-11:30 "Horse Mortality: Carcass Disposal Alternatives"- Jean Bonhotal, Cornell Waste Management Institute/Department of Crop and Soil Sciences, Cornell University (Rm. 146)
  • 11:30-12:15 "Equine Genetics – Today and Tomorrow" – Dr. Samantha Brooks, Faculty, Department of Animal Science, Cornell University (Rm. 146)
  • 12:15-1:00 LUNCH - “Munch and Mingle Time!” (Rm 348)
  • 1:00-1:45 “Share Time” - CCE Educators, staff, volunteers, leaders, and teen leaders are all encouraged to bring an idea, a project, a program or something that you think would be of benefit and would like to share with the whole group. Bring items for a “Show and Tell” concept - make copies to be handed out if appropriate. Please keep presentations to 2-3 minutes, due to time limitations. You will have time to give the basic idea – people can search you out later for additional information if they wish to.
  • 1:45-4:00 At this time we will all move to the Livestock Pavilion for the afternoon sessions.
